1 1/2 #s lean beef stew meat 1 t. salt 1/4 t. pepper 2 stalks celery 4 carrots 2 onions, sliced 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 can condensed Campbells tomato soup 1/2 can water rutabaga and cabbage as desired
Place raw meat in the bottom of a roaster or
Dutch oven pot. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Top with cut up
veggies. Combine soup and water and pour over rest of ingredients. Stir. Bake covered at 325 deg. for about 3 hours.
Easy Oven Stew
4-5 cups fresh
broccoli, cut into flowerets 1 cup raisins 1 cup sunflower nuts 1/4 cup diced red onion 1 # bacon (fried, drained, and crumbled) 3-4 T sugar 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 T cider vinegar
Combine
broccoli, raisins, onion, bacon, and sunflower nuts in a large bowl. Mix the sugar, mayonnaise and vinegar together, then mix well into the salad. Chill overnight to let flavor set in.

Broccoli Delight Salad
1 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup vinegar
(I've used both cider and white) 1/4 tsp salt 4 cups sliced cucumbers
In a bowl, combine the mayo, sugar, vinegar and salt. Add sliced cucumbers, stir to coat, and refrigerate for at least two hours.
