This beautiful December holiday animated desktop/wallpaper will delight both young and old with its beautiful snow scene. It seems almost magical with Santa and his sleigh being pulled across the sky by his team of reindeer, and a beautifully decorated holiday tree complete with blinking lights!
DIRECTIONS TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE DECEMBER HOLIDAY ANIMATED DESKTOP/WALLPAPER:
The animated calendar can be used as
either your desktop/wallpaper, or as a calendar which can be brought up whenever
you want it.
1. To
install the calendar, it is suggested that you create a folder in whatever
directory you wish to download the file to.
The file contains more than one file after unzipping, and all the files
should remain together.
3. Extract
(unzip) the file you downloaded into the same folder.
If you do not have Winzip, click on the link provided and download an
evaluation copy of Winzip 7. This
evealuation copy is valid for 21 days.
4. To
set the animated calendar as your desktop/wallpaper, right click on your
desktop, click on "Active desktop", then "Customize My
Desktop", click on the Background tab.
To the right of the window where it says to select backgrojnd picture or
HTML...... click on the BROWSE button, a new window will come up and go to the
directory where you created the folder and saved the calendar.
Click on the file titled
"Test 5", and then Open and that will select the calendar.
Under the BROWSE button there is a button for selecting the display, for
a full screen display, select Stretch".
For
Windows XP users: From Start, select Control Panel, then select Display, then
select Desktop, click on browse and go to the folder you downloaded the file to
and select it.
5. To use "on demand", right click on the Test 5 file, and click on "Create Shortcut". A shortcut icon will be created which can be dragged to your desktop. To activate the calendar, simply click on the shortcut you created.
